Brief biography:

Dr. Alireza Souri (IEEE Senior Member, ACM Professional Member) received his BSc degree in Computer Engineering from University College of Nabi Akram, Iran, his MSc degree in Computer Engineering from Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University, Iran and received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering from Science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University, Iran. Also, he was recognized by Iran’s National Elites Foundation and awarded as national elite in 2018, 2019 and 2020. He currently is a lecturer and researcher in Haliç University, İstanbul, Turkey, and collaborates as a research fellow at School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Shandong University of Technology, Zibo, China. Up to now, he has authored/co-authored more than 85 scientific articles and conference papers in established journals such as IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine (IEEE), Applied Soft Computing (Elsevier), Expert systems with applications (Elsevier), Computer and Industrial Engineering journal (Elsevier), Journal of Systems and Software (Elsevier), Cluster Computing (Springer) and IEEE Access. Also, he is Associate Editor of Human-Centric Computing and Information Sciences (Springer), Cluster Computing (Springer), Connection Science (Taylor and Francis), IET Communications (IET), Journal of High Speed Networks (IOS Press), and Network Modeling Analysis in Health Informatics and Bioinformatics (Springer) journals. In addition, he is a Guest Editor for many special issues in scientific journals such as IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, ACM Transactions on Sensor Networks, Enterprise Information Systems, Cluster Computing, Complex and Intelligent Systems, ETT, Sustainable Cities and Society, IJCS, Computer and Electrical Engineering Journal, IJGUC, IJET, HCIS, NHIB, IJAIT, JOIN, IETE Journal of Research, Wireless Personal Communications Journal, WCMC and Sensors. Also, He has written two Technical Books on Software Engineering and Programming Language topics.
